Along with the Con Rods being catered to almost all the OEM’s  in India for various Segments like Automotive, Tractors, Compressors etc, we are also indulged in manufacturing 1, 2 & 3 Cylinder Crankshafts to the tune of 20,000 to 25,000nos per month over the span of more than past 15 years. Till 2006 we were producing all these Crankshafts from the Rajkot plant only.

However to enhance the Production capacity for Multi Cylinder Crankshafts we had put a new facility in 2006 namely Amul Crankshafts Pvt. Ltd at Sanaswadi just besides our Press Forging Plant. Looking at the availability of raw material, man power skill and required infrastructure the plant has been set up at a strategic location on the Pune Nagar Highway and is spread over a spacious area of 5 acres land. Keeping in view of the stringent requirements of this component, all the Machines have been Imported from Europe from the world renowned Daimler Chrysler in February’06. We are attaching herewith the machinery list as a Annexure 1 for your kind persual. You will notice that we are equipped with all the superb world class machines except Fillet Radius Rolling Machines, which is too costlier.

Recently, we are also putting up a new Crankshaft Plant in Rajkot for our valued customer M/s Lombardini India for their 2, 3 & 4 Cylinder Crankshafts for their Italy requirements. The Machines are already Ordered by us. The Fillet Radius Rolling Machine being Imported from Italy will be supplied by Lombardini. The plant set up will be completed and will be ready for production by Nov’08.

Amul Crankshaft (Pune plant) is presently designed to give a production output of 400 nos Crankshafts per day to cater the Industry Requirement at the tune of 8000-10000nos per month. However at present we are producing 5000 nos Crankshafts for our OEM Customers like Tata Motors Ltd for their 2.2L and 4DL Crankshafts requirements @ tune of 200nos per day. Still we are left with the spare capacity of 3000 nos per month.

On viewing your 3 Cylinder & 4 Cylinder Crankshaft drawings, we feel that we can cater your 3 and 4 Cylinder Crankshafts as per your requirement. For this, the Rough Turning Operations till Fillet Radius Rolling could be done at Pune first. Later on, Crankshafts could be brought to Rajkot for Fillet Radius Rolling and could be again send back to Pune for finish Operations. The fully finished Crankshafts could be despatched to you at Ranipet directly from Pune.
